I'm a huge Jets fan I was very disappointed with this season. I think next year will be better if Chad is at QB and Darren McFadden is in the backfield. Also, I would make a push for Terrell Suggs or Haynesworth. Also, fire Bob Sutton. Not a good defensive coordinator. Jonathan Vilma has been ruined by this guy and if we fire him Vilma can be saved.

The Jets will be rebuilding for many years, as far as I can tell Vilma is your best player. Start with a new head coach, Mangini is clueless...

They should go with Clemens, Pennington just cant put anythhing on the Ball now. He is a great QB and he makes the right decisions but when the ball comes out it is just so soft. He will be a good mentor for Clemens and possibly a coach someday. I don't think McFadden will be there for them(KC needs a running back and he fits there style also he is geographically a fit coming from near by Arkansas) and I think Thomas Jones is a good back. I do think Sutton could go, I also think that they should look at the offensive line but the only real premeir guy is Jake Long and they already have LT D'Brickishaw Ferguson. They need help on the D-line and they may be able to get Chris Long out of Virginia, where they play the 3-4 defense the Jets use. Suggs would be great but I can't imagine the Baltimore isn't gonna use the Franchise Tag on him.

First of all, the Jets need to bring in Alan Fanacea from from the Steelers. He's a free agent, and the Jets showed last year they desperately needed a solid LG to make Brick and Mangold better.

Bring in Terrell Suggs, who will give them a solid OLB/DE hybrid in the 3-4 scheme.

I'm not sold on Haynesworth in the 3-4. I think he's solid, but not spectacular. That is the number one thing for hte Jets to address in this years draft. Get a big stuffing, pocket collapsing DT to plug the middle.

If he is there when the Jets pick, grab Chris Long. If not see what offers available at hte 6th pick.

Finally, see how Vilma's knee is. If it is good, try and trade him for whatever you can get. Vilma has not been great since his rookie year, and hasn't been good for two or three.

You can live Clemens/Pennington for one more year. The Jets need to address the less "sexy" positions.

What really hurt the Jets this season, well, hurt them. When they're healthy, they're a good team. When they're not healthy, in the words of their greatest legend, Joe Namath, they're strugg-a-ling. It's been the pattern. No matter what kind of talent and brains a team has, sometimes it comes down to luck. Heck, even Fireman Ed got hurt and missed games!

At least they've got a good attitude: With all their problems, they brought as much "A-game" as possible against the Cheatriots, and had their chances in several games. Jet fans can walk away from this season with their heads held high -- though the Jets themselves, at the rate they're going, may sprain their necks if they try that.

Put this season in the past, and focus on what you can do with whatever health players you have. The Pats can't win forever, the Dolphins can't win now, and the Bills, who knows, they're a step-forward, step-back team. A healthy Jets would have been the second-best team in the AFC East, and could have made the Playoffs. The situation is hardly hopeless.

You mentioned McFadden: Assuming he comes out for the draft, and he's available, get him. The Jets still have not found the successor to Curtis Martin. Finding him would ease the pressure on Pennington, and he might not try to do so much, thus cutting down on his risks and maybe keeping him healthier. It would be a big help.

They need to get rid of Pennington. I think having him around next year competing with Clemens over the starting QB job is a huge mistake.
They should try and trade Vilma because he will not excel in a 3-4 defense. Therefore, they must go after Baltimore's Terrell Suggs and try and draft Virginia's Chris Long. They are both high-energy guys who have proven they can excel in the 3-4.

They need to start cheating up a storm! That's the only way they'll have a chance against the Pats. Come on Mangini! You know you want to!

I don't like Terrell because it sounds like he's insulting TO. I think what they should do is get an actual WR.
