I'm trying the 7 veg/fruits a day, 6 grains products, 3-4 milk products, 2 meat, and a 2-3 tsp of fat/oils per day.

Does that mean no junk food ever again? I'm tryng to loose weight and get healthy again. But when is it okay to cheat a bit? Once a week? month?

I Used to eat a LOTA junk...a lot. Its hard:(

Thanks

I LOVE JUNK...just like you. It really can be an addiction. Never eating junk food again would be extremely difficult. If you must cheat...make it small and once a week should not harm your weight loss. But remember, each time you do eat something sweet, your mind and body will tell you it wants more. Check out the Leptin Diet on the internet. If a person eats correctly for long enough, the sweets cravings dissipate.
I would also re-evaluate the "food pyramid" above...it is recommended by U.S. Ag, and they are not concerned with keeping you at a healthy weight, they are concerned with selling milk, and grains. Like I said, check out the diet book above....it is a lifestyle change, not just a diet.
