How do you pronounce the New york city Syracuse? I've only just found out that it exists, for some reason i've never heard of it before! how do you say it?
Sorry, getting confused here, i dont want to make a fool out of my self- so would you agree with this? sear ah cuuuuz?
No i'm from England. Trust me i'd be pretty embarassed if i lived in the states and didnt know.

If your from England, then you can get away with pretty much any pronunciation with an English accent :bowdown: I love that accent personally :wavey: but they all have it right, thats where I'm from.

Sometimes I say "sear" sometimes "sare". You can say either.

I don't think I have ever heard it pronounced properly. I am in the Rochester area and I have always heard it pronounced sare in the beginning. I have never heard anyone use the "z" sound at the end either. sar ah cuse is how I have always said and heard it.

I worked there for 2 months, about 2 years ago, and everyone I came in contact with said sir-uh-kyoos. The dictionary pronunciation.
