Has anyone stayed at the Fallsview Plaza in Niagara Falls?

We are going to be going there soon and I want a nice place to stay. My biggest pet peeve about hotels is the carpet, I can't stand to walk across carpet bare footed and feel like I need to wash my feet cause they feel tacky....GROSS!
We definitely need a hotel with a nice indoor pool (may be to cold to swim when we go), mini fridge and microwave.
Any suggestions for a good hotel would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone knows alot about Niagara Falls, when is the best time to go and avoid over crouding? We thought about the end of March, but might be to cold still (We will have Kids with us).
April.... May....
Forgot to mention FREE parking would be great also, I've been checking out some hotels and a lot of them charge for parking or use valet parking.

EW, don't EVER walk barefoot across hotel carpets!! Ew.
There is a brand new casino hotel in Niagara Falls, USA. It's kind of expensive, but only a few years old. Niagara Falls on the US side is NEVER crowded, and lots of free parking. On the Canadian side, it's very busy. You can visit both NF cities on either side of the border, too!
Summer is the busiest time, though, for sure.
