Whatever happened to these NHL teams?

Looking through my old hockey cards the other day, came across some teams I had long forgotten.
The Kansas City Scouts, I believe, became the Colorado Rockies and then the New Jersey Devils.
But whatever happened to the Oakland/California Seals and the Cleveland Barons? Who are they today?

The Seals became the Barons after the 1975-76 season. They folded after the '78 season and merged with the North Stars.
