I used to live in NYC. Without knowing your major, your grades or more of your plans, my assistance remains limited. Look up CUNY or City University of New York. Also look up SUNY or State University of New York. Across the water in New Jersey are some fine colleges as well. It may also be safer to live in some parts of Jersey.
