ok i may sound dumb but i'm curious .... what is the difference between new york and new york city? like i know places like manhattan, queens, bronx are in new york city and rockland county, albany, saratoga, and all these lame places are in NEW YORK. they r both new york, then why are they so far apart from each other? like from manhattan to albany would take forever but theyre both new york!!!!!!! and how the hell is buffalo, NEW YORK near canada and times square isnt.

As Frank Barone (http://www.everybodylovesray.com/html/meetcast/stars/boyle.html) would say, "What in the holy name of crap are you talking about???!!??" Are you for real?
There is New York City which is in the STATE of New York. Cities and towns are not necessarily near each other but they are in the same state. :fryingpan:
