It's so distressing. Every week I see (and sometimes try to stop) urban boys from fighting both on the street and in my son's school.

PROBLEM: The school, typically, just verbally chastises the boy/offender with NO actual serious discipline. Thus, bullies continue to bully and both the VICTIM and the OFFENDER are victims. These same boys end up being TEENS who think they can settle disputes by FIGHTING because no one in school (formative years) showed them ways to handle their anger nor the legal/police results of fighting.

WHAT CAN I DO. When I complain at my son's school, they target me and have labeled me a TROUBLE MAKER and then do things to make my son suffer for my "out spoken disposition".

I do not want to get the school in major trouble, but want to change the system so that they stop letting BOYS GO WILD and ultimately, end up in jail.

I am enclosing a PDF file for you to read about anti-violence in schools.
