Error when trying to send mail

I use Outlook but have been having a problem with it. I can get incoming mail but it wont let me send outgoing. :comp26: I use it for my Kids Defense Team account. I am familiar with setting up the mail accounts but whatever I do, I get a error. Gets annoying when I want to write a business email. :violent5:

My first big (and this was BIG) move was when I switched my email from an Outlook / POP combo to Gmail and Google Aps (http://www.google.com/a/). One day, I just signed up, switched my MX record, and started using it. Very smooth transition.

What is the error? Are you connected to your ISP when trying to send (not on someone else's dialup or something)? Have you tried calling your ISP for help? Have you installed any software that might be filtering/blocking e-mail from your computer? The error, your ISP, and your current smtp server setting in outlook should be enough to make an educated guess on a solution.
