...look for work legally? I am from the United States. She is french and lived in france up until 3 months ago. We got married and live in New York City. After alot of disscusion we decided to look into moving to England. Since she is still a citizen of France and they are part of the EU can I legally get work there even thought we were married in the states. She can legally be here now we have all the paper work she has her green card already we just choose to move to europe,

Can't see this being a problem but why on earth would you want to come here. Fifteen years ago I would have said good choice but now you've got to be out of your mind.

It would seem the British would be the ones to ask if they will let you work there or not. Maybe you could contact their embassy.
