Should I move to VA beach or stay here on Long Island New York?

I am trying to decide if I should move to VA Beach or stay here on long island NY. I have 3 younge children and this would be a huge change for them. Although, I use to move from state to state and was fine with it as a child. We have to move due to financial situations. What would you do?

i moved from here to nc and moved back because the pay is so low. we thought we would be able to make it because the houses are cheaper but that was the only thing that is cheaper. plus all my family is here and that made it hard for me and my kids. we didn't have a house to sell here to get one there. we went from an apartment here to a house there.but if you can afford it there and it is ok with the rest of your family, i would go for it. and the worst thing that would happen is that you would move back like i did, which wasn't so bad. good luck.
