Any Sims 2 experts here? ;)

Do you know the answer to this question?

My daughter has this game and loves it except for the fact that her family keeps failing. She knows this is the nature of the game, but is there any way to backup a family so that she does not have to recreate the same one over and over?

Put the entire folder into a zip archive, and then back it up on box.net or another online free backup service.
Or copy it to another CD, DVD, or flash drive

Heres a forum for Sims (http://www.syschat.com/sims-2-custom-content-crashing-issue-3241.html).

The above happened after a Spybot S&D (http://www.discussny.com/showthread.php?t=2664) scan.

It blows my mind how the two could be related.

I ran the scan because all of a sudden we were having many troubles including windows lockups (http://www.discussny.com/showthread.php?t=2663).

My computer never has any trouble when I only go to trusted sites that I use.

:innocent:

I know it stinks though, sorry that happened.
