Do you take care of your own yard?
Do you have a professional lawn care service do it?

Hubby for the most part takes care of it. For some stupid reason my parents got in the lawn doctor. I would love to borrow Yukons (http://www.discussny.com/member.php?u=10) paintball gun when they come because whatever they put down gives me a migraine. I try to get the house shut up before they start if I hear them in time. Plus I don't want my birds exposed to that smell. Maybe if I say something nasty to them this year they will leave and not come back. :innocent:

I take care of my yard. This year it is a big mess. My lawn is all matted and muddy and somhow everyone's trash blew into my backyard. :(
I also have a tree they blew over. Waiting for the ice to melt before I cut it up.

I find it very ironic that you would post this Rayumdo. Looking for ideas or did the goat die?

Just mow. Highest setting so you don't have to water much. And compost the clippings

I drop my clippings right back on the grass.
As long as I don't let it get too tall in the back yard that's fine.
In my town you're actually not allowed to put any grass out with the garbage.

I thought birds would not go into a yard that was sprayed, at least I have not seen them go into my neighbors yard. They seem to love feasting in my yard.

These are my indoor birds. I don't want them smelling pesticides.
