Just wondering if anyone is on LinkedIn. I've been a member there awhile for no good reason other than a link to my website LOL Just started connecting with people, didn't know if anyone wanted to 'link up with me (href="http://www.linkedin.com/in/kdemonte)' if you're a member there?

Thats my feeling too. I also just submitted a "group" over there called CNY connections (still pending approval) thought it would be a great way to network with other NY businesses/ sole proprietorships and possibly get some new clients out of it LOL Thats me, always thinking how to get that next dollar/client and marketing. God I really need to get a life! :fryingpan:

I'm on there; I used it when I was leaving my job a few years back, to keep some of the connections I made. Now I rarely login. Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/) is the new networking tool of choice. Facebook is dead, IMO. Professionals ran through it & left it to the kiddies again.

Just went and signed up on twitter, never been there before. I don't quite get it, how it works but I'll play around in their later maybe.

I didn't get it at first, either, but now I use it all day long. The other day I was looking for an offer to promote, asked my Twitter network and someone found a match. Today someone asked about BlueTie's service and I replied (it sucks - well, I was nicer and clarified more).
I'm "esnagel" on Twitter - follow me (http://twitter.com/esnagel)!.

I figured it out pretty quickly; I have lots of people that follow me that I have *no* idea who they are. I guess they like knowing what I'm doing
