When is the best time to buy a house considering the market in New York ?

I am looking to buy a house soon but if the prices continue to decline how long should I wait... should I wait until next year?

I got mine over five years ago. I don't think rates have changed much since then. Make sure that you can afford what you get, and don't get one of those pesky variable rates if you are in it for the long haul. ;)
