It doesn't happen very often. Once in a blue moon I am.... GASP!! wrong about something.

I drove by a flag and noticed it was being flown at half staff. I have not been paying a lot of attention to the news lately and was a little ashamed that I had no idea why it was being flown that way. When I got home, I asked my room mate why and he said that it was possibly for Pearl Harbor. I knew December 7th was Pearl Harbor day (at least I can say I knew that much :p) but I was almost certain there had to be another reason. I didn't remember it being flown at half staff on December 7th before. I did a google search to see if I could find out why it was being flown that way on Friday.

THIS IS WHAT I FOUND. (http://www.aflag.com/etiquette.asp)

I decided to post this in hopes of educating others about it. We should know these things.

I guess I will have to be happy with being right 99.9% of the time. :p

OMG way too many rules for a flag! I don't think I'm old enough for all that responsibility!
