Wedding in the Adirondacks?

Hello,
I am looking to get married next year, and our wedding will most likely be in the Adirondack mountains, near Lake Placid. If anyone out there has ever, or knows someone who has, been married up there, I'm just trying to get a ballpark idea on how much the wedding cost them and if there are any great locations they can recommend. Thanks!

I was there this past winter and nearly died skiing...but aside from that, an excellent choice. There are many places to choose from. Mirror Lake in the town of Lake Placid is beautiful. There was a place we ate at, The Pines Inn Lake Placid, it was a hotel/restaraunt that was a neat setting.
