Where can I buy equipment from bankrupcy or closing companies around New York?

Im looking to export used equipment to Central America (print and press industrial machines, concrete block makers....ETC..) around the New York area....any type of industrial equipment could be of our interest...how can i find companies that are about to close?
Also interested in used hotel furniture, like beds in good shape...I heard that hotels renovate their inventory and sell everything.....Thanks for any help or possible information..

Check the trade magazines, look online for auctioneers.
Upstate NY the auctioneers advertise in the local papers.
Magazine called BUY Lines, purchased at news stands, they are also online, always lists the auction sites and what is up for bidding.
