Worst date ever... my boyfriend in high school took me out to dinner to this Japanese restaurant about 40 minutes away from our hometown for Valentines Day, his parents were driving. On the way down to the restaurant the car ended up hitting 2 deer totally damaging the car including the headlight alignment so seeing straight ahead of you was, well impossible.
Now I'm a totally animal lover and this sent me into tears, which annoyed his parents, but I regained composure and we went to dinner. Then on the drive back to our town, we ran over 2 cats. Now I LOST it! I was just beside myself and his father just kept saying,"They're just cats!" I couldn't wait to get home. My mother was shocked when I returned home crying hysterically over the loss of life over one Valentine's Day Dinner!

I dated my worst date for a few months in high school and married the freak and was abused emotionally and physically for 19 years. ( I stayed because he threatened to take the kids away )
My best date is my second husband and we are still on our date going on nine years now. :yay:

Worst date: It was my 18th birthday. I also coached cheerleading for the Vince Lombardi League. That day, we had a game, and my boyfriend at the time wanted to take me to dinner afterwards. After coaching all day, I was famished! We get to the restaurant and we're seated. The place looks amazing. We are handed our menus and he says..."Just don't order anything in the teens on me." Well, nothing on the menu was cheaper than $15 a plate. (This was the early 90s keep in mind!) We had already been poured water, and served a bread basket (which he had devoured). We didn't share the same tastes in food, so sharing a plate was out of the question, if it was even allowed. We left the restaurant, and I made him leave $5 on the table at least for the waitress who now had to clean up our water glasses and his plate of breadcrumbs and butter.....
Best Date: Ed and I had just started dating and we had no particular plans. We just enjoyed each other's company. We started out at Barnes and Noble, and listend to the CDs while sitting in their comfy couches. Then we moved over to Service Merchandise and played with all the electronics. We had fun with the keyboards where I showed off my limited playing ability...lol. We just had an all around good time, doing absolutley nothing. It was so much fun! :D

worst date: I was trying to get back together with my very recent ex-gf. We had broken up a week or so earlier (after a year and a half or so), but she had *promised* we were still friends, and she was going to take me out for a 21st Bday to beat all 21 bdays. I was young, and thought I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this chick, etc. and I believed her. Needless to say, she stood me up, no call nothing. I waited around about 2-3 hours. I said finally said screw it, called up another ex-gf I hadn't spoken to in a year or so. I went and picked her up around 9 or 10 (it was a sunday). I don't remember how, but she made sure we got back to my parents house safe and sound and very very very drunk.
Best date: Um, I met my fiance' at Barnes and Noble, about 3 1/2 years ago. I've been having the best date ever since. We've been to Florida, Puerto Rico, all over DC, NJ, NY, and VT. Soon to include OR, Italy, and St. Luicia.

Worst: Spent the dinner (first date) without really speaking, as we had nothing in common (then I wound up dating her for a year).
Best: Had my girlfriend over for dinner (which I cooked) and spent a rather nice evening talking and such.

Worst Date: Flew 3o00 miles to the North West to see my online "friend" who I met playing Yahoo Checkers and as group date, we went with her parents 4 wheeling. It was my first time on a 4 wheeler and while trying to impress her, I went over into a 12 foot ditch and git stuck upside down in the tree below with the heavy 4 wheeler on top of me.
All I can say is thank God for putting that tree right there.
Best Date: Planned on taking my classmate to an expensive restaurant and the movies and she was cool just going to Wendy's then watch TV at her place.
Total expense for the day... $8. :D

not my worst date, but one of my dumbest:
Met a girl, thought I was very into her. Made reservations at the old Depot (high end, pittsford -> least it was . . . ). Dropped close to 2bills on dinner. Just to find during the course of the evening I really didn't like her personality, only her looks. Um, kept seeing for a month or two. Did I mention she was really hot? :).

Worst Date: I was 28 and had just started dating a 19 yr old girl, (yeah, mistake). We got along great and the physical part was dynamite. She was Jewish, I am Catholic. I picked her up at her parent's, who were both in their late 30's. They looked younger than that, and her father and I seemed to be very similarly looking chaps. Before we left, her mother called her into the other room, where I could hear a slightly heated conversation.
We went off on our date, and in the car ride TO the restaurant she told me she was not allowed to see me anymore. I still took her to the restaurant we had planned on going to anyways, where we pretty much sat in silence, stared into the distance, and ate our Chinese food, (May Jen, by UB South).
Best Date:
I dated a girl in my mid twenties who was working as a forest ranger at Glacier National Park in Montana. I went our there for three weeks in the summer of 93 and we hiked all over Northwest Montana for a good week of the trip. Not so much a date as a mini-vacation, but it was the best time I ever had with a woman...
