{
OpenWindow=window.open("", "newwin", "height=250,width=250,toolbar=no,scrollbars="+scroll+",menubar=no");
OpenWindow.document.write("<HTML>")
OpenWindow.document.write("<TITLE>My Embedded Video</TITLE>")
OpenWindow.document.write("<BODY BGCOLOR=000000>")
OpenWindow.document.write("<EMBED SRC=4secjoe.avi AUTOSTART=true></EMBED>")
OpenWindow.document.write("</HTML>")
OpenWindow.document.close()
self.name="main"
}
</SCRIPT>
[Don't copy this]

Post the video to YouTube and use their "embed" code. That way, other people will see the video (added exposure) and you won't have to worry about the bandwidth!

I would but this is for a doctors website I am doing and I think she would FLIP because it would show her addresses to her office and such. Believe I wanted to do that, but she changes her mind more than I come on DNY. :p

Isn't that the point of having a website & advertising a business online? The way I see it, YouTube is just another directory to be included in. If your video is seen, then the user comes to the website, that's the goal!

Yes and me personally would agree but she is a very conservative person and would not understand. I might end up going with youtube and if she don't like it I can change it like all the other changes she put me thru. :comp26:

I wish, for a doctor she is CHEAP. I needed some quick cash, I got half upfront and the other half upon completion and the way it is looking she will never have it completed because she keeps changing her mind. :gah:

Oh, crap. yes I made it. I will wait for her to notice before I correct it. lol. I am sure she will think of something else wrong with it, so I will wait for her to pick it apart. Thanks though. My grammar has alot to be desired.

I hated mentioning it. My mom is so anal about grammar that she used to email back emails I would send her with corrections! How annoying is that!

Wow and I thought I had it bad with hubby correcting my grammar, I hardly ever show him my work for just that reason. lol And thanks for the word anal, thats my favorite word to use. We nicknames the nextdoor neighbor anal because he is so anal the way he works in his yard and shovels his snow. lol I swear one day I am going to call him that by mistake :rofl:

Since we don't interact with the neighbors we do because they are all, I will try and be nice, not very nice neighbors.
And the doctor picked apart the video as I thought she would. Slow down each frame install music but didnt see the bad grammar :rofl:

Grrr, how Annoying! I am client FREE finally! Took mine live last night, talked to him like an hour this morning and have avoided being online since, so he doesn't ask for anything else. I am way too behind on my own sites to tweak stupid things anymore, and he knows that.
:cheers2:Here's to you too being client free soon...all the way to the bank LOL

She liked the site and will be client free soon, then it is back to work on phpcow and me asking you a million and one questions. LOL. I have had the weather part installed for a week now and need to know how to edit the header. It says HAM weather on it. And how to edit the weather so it says Maryland weather when you click on it. Then back to figuring out rss feed and such to get more articles up. :thanks:

^Oh ya, I forgot, I did post the article answer in th cow forum for you. Not sure if you saw that. I will have to go dig into my weather install to remember how to customize that, I remember our location was wrong too when they installed it, header was a simple swap if I remember quick...but I'll put the answers on my board for you...when i remember them!

Theres the attitude LOL! I lov making videos, typically. What software do you use? I have some sony movie maker thingy, suddenly the name escapes me. I used to love video production class in High School and ran our TV station there so I love that stuff but not typically for clients. I like using that for myself.

You probably have Sony Vegas. Thats a expensive program. I am just using Windows Movie Maker, then I have to convert it to a wmv before uploading to youtube. I use all the freebie programs out there. :rolleyes: Until they pay me the big bucks, they will get what they pay for. :cool: Now I have a few more medical forms I have to make and change to pdf format. Of coarse she didn't tell me what kind of forms she wanted. I am just lucky that I used to work in a doctors office and know the typical forms.

It doesn't matter what song is picked, the copyright issue will still be there.

Not always, I had to buy rights to songs when I made videos for myself and clients. It was really cheap when you're using them for simple things like that online.
