so they ARE all bots . . . ? I've been trying to skim through most of these yesterday and noticed other than the usernames I'm accustomed to seeing, they were all posted by IDs with ONE post ... and many of them didn't make much sense ... I agree with Eric, btw. Just Say No to bots!

Oops - I let the cat out of the bag. They're not all bots, or scrapers, but you can tell which are. Typically unknown usernames w/ 1 post, like you said.

OMG I've been talking to bots!! No way? j/k actually my worst fear is when I'm messing around that its not actually a bot but a real newbie to the site. I've been known to open mouth- insert foot more then one occasion, and I'm not too good at behaving when I get no sleep and crazy workloads that I want to avoid LOL!

I wasn't a fan of throwing this out there to the whole site. (apparently it didn't matter because they were getting thanks and pm's) :innocent:

Anyhoo, they were fine before when there were a couple a day. If this was done at a time when they could have been looked at and approved first it would have gone much better.

We really need more members making new threads. If we do it again, it will go through moderation first to pick and choose what is posted to be sure they are quality posts that are worth talking about.
