It needs a little work around the edges still, but I have a new lilac tree in my front yard. There was already a dip in the yard there from before I moved in. I think another tree used to be there. Anyways, that's the latest addition and it smells nice too. :)

Looks good - interesting that you went w/ the tree (shaped) instead of the bush (shaped). We opted for a bush when we bought one 2 years ago. Darker purple, too.

Either way, in a few years it'll be huge, and smell fantastic!

There is the tree, but also two bushes.

One of the bushes is lighter and planted now, the other is darker and still in the pot.

You can already smell them inside the house.

I also did some work filling in some dirt areas that needed some new grass seed.

It smelled so good and it was unique looking. I really like it. It blooms later than most lilacs. Most of them were nearly done blooming. Like the dark purple bush that he posted that isn't planted yet.

We have 4 lilac tress that line the beginning of our backyard fence. They are huge! The previous owner of our house did very little yard work apparently because they were so over grown. The annoying thing about it is that they seemed to be in order, first one was light purple, second one white, third one light purple, then another light purple. kind of annoys me because I love organization, but they are extremely fragrant and we can see them right outside our kitchen which makes for some great smells in the kitchen even when I microwave dinner LOL

We have 4 lilac trees Are yours trees or bushes? I seem to be getting some crap for getting the tree and not all bushes. I like the tree, it's cute.
