Hello,

What is your favorite breakfast cereal?

Do you have an old favorite that is no longer available?

Buck Wheat Crisp was a favorite that I used to get at my Grandparents house.

Ray and I discussed Buckwheats (http://forums.dealofday.com/showpost.php?p=125882&postcount=46) awhile ago and it was my fave cereal as a kid too (Ray insists on calling it buck wheats crisp.... which is WRONG.... LOL It was like Wheaties but it was sweeter. Good stuff. I miss it.

They didn't have it in Buffalo. I could only get it at my Grandparents in Rochester.

I have several current favorites. I LOVE cereal. I can eat it for every meal. It has tons of vitamins and minerals it's good for you and low in fat. You can't go wrong.

I love the Trail mix Grape Nuts, Vanilla cream shredded wheat, Smores, Honey Bunches of Oats with cinnamon clusters, Cinnamon Life, Peanut Butter Crunch, Crunch Berries  ....HMM might have been easier posting cereals I don't like.

I hate Waffle crisp. That has to be the worst God awful cereal ever made. Cracklin oat bran is pretty bad too. Those could possibly be the only two cereals I have ever tried that I would never eat again. :Puking_Smiley:

I go through phases of my favorite, current I'm stuck on Honey Nut Cheerios, other times it is typically Total Raisin Bran.
Growing up I loved Cracklin Oat Bran... sorry Theresa

I love that and cocoa puffs and fruity pebbles. There aren't many that I don't like. So far there are only two cereals I can think of that I hate but I already mentioned them.

I think I just posted something similar on another thread, but here goes...

Top Five:

5. Apple Jacks...super sweet, applelicious!
4. Honey Smacks...took the politically incorrect word, "Sugar", out years ago, but still totally awesome.
3. Count Chocula...the Vampire of chocolate, take a bite!
2. Fruity Pebbles...addicting, much like my attraction to Wilma Flinstone.
1. Crunch Berries...perfection in a breakfast cereal? why yes, yes indeed.

All 5, nasty! Not necessary for kids or adults. :banghead:

I disagree. These cereals are proven winners. The lucky ones that get to eat these confections from heaven are happier, more successful, and generally better liked.

OUT!

I was lucky to get corn pops or frosted flakes like once a month.

I think I turned out OK. :innocent:

Those are OK. No milk or water though. Plain with a bowl and spoon is all you need.

BTW, I would never eat these for breakfast, but they make for a tasty snack later in the day!
