Hello,
The DiscussNY Home Page (http://www.discussny.com/) received a face lift. It is a little more inviting, and includes the welcome / registration box and the latest pictures (not random pictures) like the forums. What do you think?

I like it a lot! But, the right-hand column is squished. Either shrink the center (only 3 photos?) or move the right under the left side

I changed it to 3 photos. Better?

Nice!! - now remove the 200x200 ad @ the bottom & move it to the bottom of the right column. I think it'll fit there. It'll balance the page more.

I can make a new ad for the right side and replace the flashchat box, but I can't move the footer ad there. The footer displays at the bottom for all pages on the site not just the home page. See the bottom of forum threads and stuff. Do you recommend a different size?

<?php if (!ereg("/index\.php", $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'])) { ?>
Put your AdSense code here
<?php } // ends bottom AdSense block ?>
Limit that block so it doesn't appear on the homepage, then add a new one on the right, like you said.
I've also heard that if you have less ads on a page, it's fewer places to people to click, so if they do click an ad, you'll get a higher CPC.

Didn't you mention to me once that the more impressions the better?

I guess for image ads, sure, 'cause you're paid on a CPM basis. But for text ads, you want clicks, not just impressions.
