This is the June 2008 picture of the month contest. Please post a picture taken anywhere in New York State during the month of June in this thread. If you post more than one picture please let us know which one is being entered in the contest at the end of the month. The pictures will be voted on at the beginning of July.

yay, just ordered my new camera last night too . . .

canon 40d, w/ 28-135mm & 17-50mm -> now I just have to wait for the delivery man, and find time to get to the city. Maybe next month.

This picture was taken from my family's cottage in Carlton, NY. The community in which it's located is called Sunset Beach.

Ok, Ray dropped the ball on this one. I guess it is going to be July/August picture of the month. So far there are only two entries so it might end up these two win due to no other entries. Not that they aren't worthy!

I took a few pictures this past weekend in Old Forge,NY. We did a day trip up there. I think a few our kid-free pictures and I'll try to post them later for you guys.
