I'm 17 and I'm visiting New York city this Christmas.Recommendations?

I'm staying a week with my parents in New York so I need some recomm. regarding places to visit,places to shop and something for fun.I would appreciate if you could be specific with the information. do you know if there's a concert of some famous band in that period? I'll be there from 21st till 28th.

Take a tour of the lights!!!

I guess you can just do what all the tourists do: Walk around Times Sq., visit Rockefeller Center, visit Santa at Macys lol, etc. etc.

You could also have lunch at the 'Seinfeld' diner, corner of W 112th St. and Broadway. They have really good french fries.

Have lunch at Tad's steak, it's cheap for a steak, and it's good. Theres a couple of them along 7th Ave in the vicinity of Times Sq and one somewhere on 34th St.

Also if you need a bathroom, you always will find one either in a McDonalds or the Port Authority Bus Terminal (2nd Floor, start to follow the signs to the 400 gates and you should come across signs directing you to the bathroom.

Another touristy place (like the rest of Times Sq.), but Good is Bubba Gumps shrimp, I been there once and it was delicious.

Have Tacos at a Chinese run Taco Take Out restaruant. They look exactly like Chines Take Out restaraunts (some even make Chinese food as well) until you read the menu.

Visit Downtown Brooklyn and the Fulton St. mall area. It's a 'ghetto' shopping epicenter. Ugh. Worth a laugh.

Theres so much to do, musuems, parks, ride the Staten Island Ferry (completely Free), etc. etc. etc.
