What are some of your favorite things to do in the summer to keep busy?
We are big swimmers, swim like everyday which is fun. We also like taking advantage of the Barnes and Nobles summer readers program. If you haven't heard of it, you go into B&N and they give you a paper to fill out all the books you read. When you finish like 8 books (i think8, can't remember the exact number) you bring you sheet back n all filled out and then you get to pick out a free book, and they let you do that twice in the summer. If any of you are into reading its a great program to take advantage of. I assume they do it at all stores, but you would obviously have to verify that.

I tell the kids to go play in traffic. :laughing6:
lol, I'm just kidding I put my friends' two kids in the pool almost every day, they love it. Hey do you know what happens to diapers when they get soaked? It's nasty. :hide:
Then the youngest (2 yrs) runs around on a little scooter while the oldest one (4 yrs) and I play football or Frisbee. It's fun..Except for that Florida sun can kill a brother. :p

What are you doing putting the diaper in ther water. They have the cool little swimmers now. I happy don't need them this year finally, my youngest has finally grown out of that phase!

lol actually I didn't realize it the first couple of times. As I try and avoid changing diapers at all costs so I'll pass the kid off to grandpa or something. The other day it was just me watching the kids so I had to change him after he got out of the pool and I realized how heavy and weird it felt and felt bad for the kid. Next time I'll just take it off before he goes in the pool..Let him run around the pool bare ass this way he gets a bath at the same time.

There you go. I do that sometimes, not the naked thing, but count swimming as a shower for my youngest...when I'm lazy and don't feel like helping her shower LOL It is weird how the diapers like crystalize in water though.
