I'm home this week because the place I work at shuts down the week of July 4th. Was up at 6:45, got ready, woke the kids up, got them dressed and fed so we could take Ed to work by 8am, went to the park, (I fell off the merry-go-round....LOL...been too long I guess!)
Gave the kids a snack, then came back home and now I'm doing laundry.

watch reads 10:37. I was up at my usual 5:15, out of the house by 5:55, and signed in at the security desk at my data center in "the city" at 6:57.

but, because I'm in the city I *have* to leave at 3 to beat the traffic home ;). My day is almost half over . . .

4:03pm - checked my bank account; my paycheck wasn't direct deposited as expected. It's my last week as a temp. The company I work for hired me on full time, but shut down this week. The HR director was reporting Monday and Tuesday to complete and mail payroll and I left her my time sheet to sign and fax to the temp agency and sent an email to her. (she left before I did on Friday). I called the temp agency and apparently, my timesheet wasn't received.
Was supposed to sign a lease and put down our security + first month's rent on Friday. Doesn't look like that's happening now.

Now I have to call the future landlady again and see if we can reschedule for Saturday.

Since my last entry my twin 4 year old nieces showed up today. We went to McDonalds and they played in the playland while me and my sister ate. Its a indoor playland so it was in the AC. Then came back home and parents have no ac downstairs. HOT. Played playdoh with the twins. Watched cartoons. Ordered pizza. Fed them Pizza. Played playdoh with them somemore and watched more cartoons. :eek2: Mr. Raven came home. Fed him pizza, played house ;) went back downstair spent a little more time with the twins until they went to the fireworks. I came back upstairs and watched some TV that I had Tivoed. Now I am checking in and off to catch some ZZZZ.

Oh and I also did my clean the bird poop routine.

4:47 PM. Just woke up from a nap. This morning I did a good cleaning of the house here since no one else bothers doing it. For the first time since we moved in things actually look in order. All I need to do now is mop the kitchen floor, that's fast and I'm done!

This morning as I was cleaning I moved all my websites back to my VPS with Servint. The funktarts are Hostww.net had my VPS with them down most of the day yesterday, heck I couldn't even get to Hostww's main website. An email to support didn't get an automated response for over 12 hours and I still haven't gotten a human response 24 hours later.. Screw that I canceled my shared hosting account with them almost 2 years ago due to down time.

On a side note, it's really easy to move cPanel sites from one server to another via WHM, they almost make it too easy.

Now just waiting for my DNS updates to propagate so I can blog about how crappy Hostww.net is.

We have an outdoor shower. It is all closed in with redwood.

We put in in years ago to clean off after coming up from the water.

We are redoing our shower upstairs at the apartment so we have been using the outdoor shower.

There is this old fart that keeps watching me. He will stand there at the end of his driveway and watch up at the shower. It ticks me off. I almost told him to F off the other day. Not that he can see anything. Accept that I go to and from the shower just wrapped in a towel. Thank goodness it is just his weekend house.


My mom just called and said the duck chased her cat. Cat is white also. So the cat is leary of the duck now. Her cat is used to playing with the wild ducks that come around and the squirrels that hang around.

I have been doing pretty good about watching what I eat since my last weigh in. Today I came into work and it was my girl Mary's b-day and they had a breakfast spread going on like you wouldn't believe. Bagels, pastries, breakfast pizza....on and on and on.
