Best CNY Fireworks.....

So where have you been in Central New York and seen you're favorite FREE fireworks display???? Meaning put on through your city/town etc?

I grew up in a small town that had amazing fireworks display, I mean CRAZY big finale. Of course they were sponsored by a large corporation each year, but I loved them. My local display seems more and more disappointing every year..but the kids still get a kick out of them.

Where have you all been that puts on a good show?

I wouldn't say they're the best, but the display is usually at least 20-30 minutes long and the grand finale is always impressive. (I can't keep my eyes open through most of it, so I guess that means it's good!) lol

We go to the fireworks in Penfield every year. The only downer is the mosquitos....they seem immune to Off!

Tonight is our fireworks. I don't have to leave my house. They put them off on a barge in the middle of the river. I can see them while sitting here at the computer. I don't see any difference from year to year. I guess it is because all I hear is LOUD NOISES and it ticks me off because it will get the redneck neighbors started for their week long drinking parties and fireworks of their own. That's all I will hear for a week. :stompfoot: :gah:

I totally agree, not only at fireworks but I think they've overpopulated themselves this year. I'm getting eaten alive every night I go outside.
