I live in Tennessee :-( and want to attend NYU or Fordham U
And if you have info about NYU or FU please do tell

I looked into those schools, too. (I'm a college freshman at Boston College now). The reason why I decided that Boston was better for me was because it's big but not as overwhelming as NY. I know that Fordham is right in the Bronx and is a pretty well gated community. It really depends on what you're familiar with and where you see yourself. If you think you can handle a really big city, then go for it. But if your city in TN is moderate, I'd look for big cities that are a lot more welcoming. There are so many things in college that are overwhelming, so you don't want to bite off more than you can chew. I know some people that go to those schools, so I'm sure they are both good. It's really up to you and what you want out of college. Ultimately, I do see myself in a huge city like NYC, but for college, I'm really glad to be in Boston, which is pretty big itself.
