Thought I'd start a new thread for this and maybe others use plugins (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/)too and can add to my list.

1.colorzillla
2. colored tabs(when you have a ton of tabs open it gives them different colors so you can tell which is which)
3.adsense notifier (shows your adsense earnings in the bottom right corber all day, updates every 15 minutes or whatever you set it too)
4. seoquake (although you can throw this on any browser I believe, I love it, givee you a ton of info of every site you visit, age, pr, links etc)
5. css stealer

Delicious Bookmarks: interfaces with your del.ici.ous account
Firebug: Tons of debugging! If you do anything w/ Javascript, you need this
Html Validator: Validates your HTML (if you care)
IE View: right-click > "View this Page in IE". Saves a copy / paste. Also, you can specify some sites (by domain) to always open in IE. Useful for Quickbooks Online, which only works in IE
Live HTTP Headers: See the HTTP headers going through Firefox. Useful for following redirects & watching cookies
MeasureIt: Measure a section of the screen, in pixels. Useful for positioning
Pearl Crescent Page Saver Pro: Screencap a page
ReloadEvery: Reload a tab every... I use this on Twitter
SearchStatus: I use for quick Whois, but also other useful data about a site / page
StumbleUpon: It's StumbleUpon, duh.
Web Developer: OMG - if you think you're a web developer & don't have this, you're not one. You can do SO much with this toolbar. What I use most often is Outline > Current Element so I can see the css nesting (ex: html > body > form #inlinemodform > div #posts > div > div .page > div > div #edit20066 > table #post20066 .tborder > tbody > tr > td #td_post_20066 .alt1 > div .smallfont > strong)

It's been a long time since I listed the Firefox Extensions I use. I used to run with as little as possible but since getting new computers I have plenty or RAM to play with so I've loaded myself up with them. Firefox is much better 'pimped' out than just a vanilla install.

Adblock Plus: Useful for blocking annoying ads, especially on news sites. I disable it on sites I frequently visit out of respect for the webmaster.

Chatzilla: A nice IRC client great for when you're just popping in to see who's in the room; No need to launch another program.

Colorful Tabs: Great extension! I have it set to color by domain, when I have 60 or 70 tabs open it's easy to see what tabs belong to what site and I can find what tab I need right away easier.

Faviconize Tabs: Another great extension. Allows you make the tab title just the site's favicon instead of the title. Great for sites I visit everyday like Google and my websites it saves space in the tab listing.

Firefox Showcase: This also helps me find lost tabs, it shows a thumbnail of every tab open.

Fireftp: Great extension for a quick upload here and there. Particually usefull for uploading images to my server real fast.

Forecastfox: Weather forcasts right in my browser

Foxmarks: Another must have if you use more than one computer. It syncs bookmarks across all your computers. Great for me as I'm often jumping on and off all different computers.

Hyperwords: This one is pretty cool, highlight any word and you can define it, translate it, wiki it, google it, etc. The pop up is a little annoying but with an adjustment of extension options it's great.

Scribefire: Blogging client lets me skip logging into my blogs and just blog right from FF.

Search Status: Eric summed this on up nicely.

Web Developer: Eric summed this one up nicely too.

Flash Block: Blocks all that annoying flash crap, especially useful on myspace.

All these extensions are available at the Firefox Addons site. Check 'em out they're awesome! :)

I'm adding LeechBlock (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4476). Hopefully I'll get more work done now.

This has really helped. I added a Block set, M-F 0900-1200,1300-1650 and if I find myself wasting time at a site while I should be working (sorry, DNY!) I add it to the block set. Then I can't get there during the day.

Thats a great idea for a plugin, just not sure I'm strong enouh to use it. When I get frustrated I have to surf it off.

So I just noticed this countdown in the corner of my browser... 8:51. I hovered over it & it says, "Shows time left before this site is blocked" (since I block DNY during the workday). I thought that was neat.

LOL a countdown until we lose you?? Cool option, I guess i could get your fingers moving if you were in the middle of typing a thought/response in here! So if the countdown said 8:51 and your post was 17 minutes ago....I guess you've already lost acceess to DNY today, so why am I writing this back to you??

I wanted to update my list.

Since posting I've removed:

Scribefire: I don't blog enough lately to really justify having it installed.

Web Developer: I never used it much to begin with, it was just taking up space

Hyperwords: Just got annoying

Search Status: I went with the Google Toolbar instead since I use all their services anyhow.

Chatzilla: Didn't use it enough, I use X-Chat as a separate client if need be although I don't spend much time in IRC anymore.

Faviconize Tabs: Didn't use it enough and no way to automatically faviconize certain sites which equals more clicking and thus a waste of time.

I removed all those and added just one.

Flagfox: It sits on your status bar and displays a flag for what country the server you're currently connected is located. Right click for Whois and and wiki info. Pretty cool for webmasters. :)

I use CustomizeGoogle to enhance the Gmail and Google searches.

Foxclocks as I have work contacts outside the US

President Bush Countdown: Counting the days.

Adblock: already mentioned.

I started using a script called NoScript. It blocks javascript by default which breaks all forums I'm on, so I need to include them one by one as I go to them. It breaks all the XSS stuff so for a lot of sites even if I allow their domain I don't see the advertisements anymore.

I just added refcontrol (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/953), allowing me to control the referer that the browser sends. Pretty cool

Careful, it causes lots of problems. I tried it out a month or two ago.

It breaks your ability to submit link and blog directory listings.

It breaks being able to use the vB admincp (probably modcp too then?)

It breaks any site that expects you to be coming from their site and never from another site.

It's a grey area... assuming you are using it to feed your web iste URL into other peoples web statistics results.

I also added another one: FoxTab (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8879) which is an experimental add-on that allows you to search through tabs similar to the way you can sort through open windows in 3-D mode on Vista. I really like it although it's not complete yet and it often doesn't generate thumbnails correctly on the fly. I'm looking forward to the final version which should fix issues like that.

I'm not blocking everything; I just have to fake some referrers to see how the page reacts coming from search engines
