Hello,

A can't seem to find the thread with the pictures of some of the old bushes being pulled out, but here is the current pictures of some of the new flowers going in. There are a variety of Begonias, Impatiens, and Daises that have been added along with the lilacs added last spring.

So pretty! The yellow flowers....are those some sort of lilly?

I love impatients too....they seem to flourish in our shaded yard. Can't wait for all new landscaping opportunities at our new place!!

Yes, they are a daylily. The ONLY reason I knew that was because I went to home depot with Ray when he was buying paint. There happened to be some for sale out front and I remembered you asked so I went over to read the name on them. :) The Daylilies (http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.phy.duke.edu/%7Efortney/flowers/daylilies/daylily_buttered_popcorn.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.phy.duke.edu/%7Efortney/flowers/daylilies/image-index.html&h=375&w=500&sz=38&hl=en&start=14&um=1&tbnid=t7DoNL1toidBzM:&tbnh=98&tbnw=130&prev=/images%3Fq%3Ddaylily%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3 Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26hs%3D87D%26sa%3DN) out front are called buttered popcorn. It was funny you said you liked those. Those are the one set of flowers (besides the Rhododendrons that I didn't plant and I HATE them.) The Rhododendrons (http://www.discussny.com/showthread.php?t=3774)are beautiful though.

I've got some mammoth sunflowers planted - the one is starting to open now. It's about 6' tall - another 6 feet to go!
