Does anyone know of anywhere that has good christmas lights this year? I know when I was younger there used to be a thing called the festival of lights, but I haven't been able to find anything like that for the past couple years. I love looking at all the different lights at this time of year and it is especially great for the kids.

They stopped having it in Canandaigua because the neighbors complained. (quite ridiculous) Now you can go to Niagara Falls (http://www.wfol.com/history.html) to see them. I just realized when searching this that they don't have it on the New York side anymore. Getting in and out of Canada is such a pain in the butt that it isn't even worth it anymore. :(

Excerpt from link.... "The success of the Niagara Falls, NY Festival of Lights, which began in 1981 inspired the Niagara Falls Canada Visitor and Convention Bureau (now Niagara Falls Tourism), the City of Niagara Falls, The Niagara Parks Commission and numerous local businesses to band together to create a parallel event. Unfortunately, the Niagara Falls, NY event was discontinued but the Winter Festival of Lights has grown in leaps and bounds, both in dazzle and popularity" :(
