I have the all included package with Time Warner here. Normally pretty happy with the speed except on snow days when all the kids home slow things down on the connection I think

I have both Road Runner and Frontier DSL at home. It started out that Road Runner kept dropping out on me so I had mom order DSL.. When I got the DSL it was way too slow, like 3mb and with amount of downloading and uploading I do it just wasn't working out so I kept the cable modem on.

Little did I know that DSL requires a year contract. :censored1::censored1::fryingpan: So, I'm stuck paying for two connections now.

What I've done is the DSL modem came with built in wifi and 4 port router so I let the laptop run off the DSL and the cable modem is wired to my computer.. If the cable drops out I just switch the cables and I'm back in business with DSL.

Right now I'm in Florida and stuck on MSN dial up.. My friends had comcast but didn't pay their bill :fryingpan: I started an AOL, AT&T, Sprint, & People PC account all trying to find a local number.. MSN and AOL are the only ones with local numbers. See my blog, AOL blows.

I've got Time Warner cable for my main connection, and the Sprint Mobile Broadband for my backup or if I'm out w/ my laptop (no need to look for a WiFi spot). The card sits in my Linksys WRT54G3G Wireless Router (WRT54G3G-ST) (http://www.whooshusa.com/sdc-linksys-wrt54g3g-wireless-router-wrt54g3g-st-38081395.html) and if my cable drops, I switch a cable from one router to the other & I'm back up & working again. It's not as fast as cable, but it's amazing for backup broadband.
