Just an FYI. Administrators and Moderators can lock your children out of certain areas of the site which may be a bit over the top. Children under 13 that sign up on the site have to have their parents permission.

Potpourri is one area that you might consider asking to have your child locked out of due to the jokes thread. Social scene is another. We are striving to make it a kid friendly site and safe for children of all ages. If you have any concerns or questions, don't hesitate to send one of us a PM.

Thats great that you're willing to provide a safe site for children with parental input.! More places online should be this concerned for children.

My kids had all access until the jokes thread got going and now they are locked out of potpourri. :D

I am going to encourage them to start a jokes thread in the kids section next.
