View Full Version : East Coast residents, why haven't you visited New York City?

Do you live within 300 miles of New York City? If so, this question is for you:
If you have not visited New York City, why not?
I live near Washington DC which is a four hour drive to the BIG APPLE and I am shocked when I talk to people about my latest trip to NYC. Most people I talk to have never visited it. I ask them why and I really do not get an answer. I can not understand why anyone over 20 would not have made the trip there. If not, why?

I'm 22 and from North Carolina and even I have been to NYC! We went there on family vacay in summer 2002. I'm hoping to go back during my honeymoon in October.

I'm a little more than 300 miles, but found it interesting the best route map goes to New York City through Pennsylvania and not Albany.

I worked as a consultant in Baltimore, and everyone in that office had been to NYC. The couple who owned the firm came here several times a year,

Can I plead Laziness. Though not being able to walk far because of my disabilities has limited me alot.
