I've been a convenience-orientated eater all of my short adult life so far (23) since leaving my parents house when I was 18.
I almost never go to the grocery store, and when I do I buy frozen meals. Lately I just buy things at work, or go to the pizza/sub place or chinese places next door.
One, this isnt very healthy, two its way to expensive. I've been looking to revamp the way I eat and try to cook for myself a little.
I feel dumb saying this, but when I walk into a grocery store Im confused... I can't even concieve making meals from all the different products!
Basically I'd like to know if anybody has any ideas.. or even better some resources for me to check out. Maybe even to hear what your own plan is for food. I work 8-10 hours out of the day so it would help for me to bring atleast some of it to work.
One idea I had was to buy a rice streamer and start making rice dishes... other than that I'm lost.
Any ideas? I know this is the broadest question ever.
