    ...the temp at the top of the falls? Would you expect the temperature of water at the bottom of Niagara Falls to be slightly higher than the temperature at the top of the falls?

    I'm not sure. It's not moving as fast? Something to do with the water after it goes through the power plant?

    Does it have to do with the pressure when the water hits the rocks? When the water hits the rocks, it will compress and heat up.

    That's my guess. I hope someone gives the real answer, so I know for sure.
