| "Well", he said, "Mr. Humming was walking due East away from the Chalet, and was shot in the back, therefore the arrow came from the direction of the Chalet. Jasmine stated that she followed Mr Huming's snowshoe tracks but made no mention of any other tracks being visible in the snow. Therefore", he continued smugly," the person who shot him did not follow him out but shot from the Chalet, and as Sarah is the most accomplished archer amongst us, I believe her to be the guilty party". "But how will we know for sure?"asked Samantha? "Well", answered the Inspector, "Judge CittyKat is arriving on the 4.55 from Chichester, and she will confirm or refute my suspicion."

| Super Duper Member | 2. Jasmine suspects Carrie. Chris Humming couldn't have told Carrie he was going out to photograph birds. If he had, he would not have headed east. With the sun rising in that direction, it would have been very difficult to see anything but the silhouettes of the birds, and of course impossible to photograph them. Congrats to: THERESA- you are very smart for figuring #1 out!!! phd7 - You didn't solve the second, but you created a VERY good story. Also, to: gatitosmommy RocCityDad kim woodin for trying to figure these out and posting replys. Thank you ![]() Thank you especially to kim woodin,THERESA and phd7 for REALLY trying. Keep at it!!! ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Super Duper Member | Here are your new Trivia questions!!!!! 1. The maker doesn't want it, the buyer doesn't use it, and the user doesn't see it. What is it? 2. While on safari in the wild jungles of Africa, Professor Thorn woke one morning and felt something in the pocket of his shorts. It had a head and a tail, but no legs. when Thorn got up he could feel it move inside his pocket. Thorn, however, showed little concern and went about his morning rituals. Why such the casual attitude? 3. This is a most unusual paragraph. How quickly can you find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so ordinary you'd think was wrong with it - and in fact nothing is wrong with it. It is unusual though. Why? Study it, think about it, and you may find out. Try to do it without coaching. If you work at it for a bit it will dawn onto you. So jump on it and try your skill at figuring it out. Good luck - and don't blow your cool!

| Super Duper Member | 1. The dead body of Raymond Callshna, the famous American romance novelist, lay slumped across his hotel room desk. His hand lay near an empty bottle of sleeping pills. A suicide note lay on the desk. "it's so strange," said the bellhop, "As i was Carrying Mr. Callshna's bags he was talking excitedly about being in England. As a matter of fact, he said this was the first time he had ever been out of the U.S., and he was planning to write his next novel with London as the setting." Jasmine looked at the note. It read: I have lost my will to live. My work has received all the honour it deserves. My writing was the centre of my life, but in retrospect, I suppose they're just trashy novels. As the colour fades from my eyes, I can only hope for a better life in the next world. "Based on this I'm sure Mr. Callshna was murdered," declared Jasmine. Why? 2. There is an ancient invention still used in some parts of the world today that allows people to see through walls. What is it? 3. How would you rearrange the letters in the words new door to make one word? Note: There is only one correct answer. The first Question might be more suited for Mark and Phoebe.
