Earlier this year here in NC they passed a law that no matter what your age front or back of the car you most where your seat belt. Though many don't and many don't care.

Remind me not to drive through NC again. You guys have some crazy state troopers out there on 95. They fly out of the woods after speeders. No joke you'll see a car fly past you, then your driving along and you see a cop peeling out of the trees on the right hand side at full speed.

NC and Georgia takes the cake for 'ballsyist' highway patrol.

Virginia is worse trust me. But once while Mr. UNC and I were visiting family in NY we were on our way home. We were on hwy 17 and yes Mr. UNC was speeding a bit. And out of the trees comes a state trooper. Because of the area we were in I bet Mr. UNC 20 dollars that I knew the trooper. Before he came to our window I told Mr. UNC the troopers name. After he got his ticket and the trooper went back to his car Mr. UNC said how do you know him and why didn't you try to get me out of this ticket. I said ya right he gave his own son a ticket once. LOL I went to school with his son and he I think went to school with my dad or one of my uncles. Anyway it was funny. I guess you had to be there.

In New York state there is no age limit for riding in the front seat, but it is recommended that kids should be 12.
