Offshoot to the 'school starting' thread

..for all of us old folks.

Do any of you ever go to your old school's websites and see what teachers that you had are still teaching? I do, just about every year around the time that school starts. It's always interesting to me to see what teachers retired, who has stayed on board that I thought would quit after having me as a student, etc..

I do once in a while. I see my art teacher is still there!

oh I popped in a few times, was surprised to see a couple of them were still there

I admit, I have never been to my school website to check on teachers. Just went there and now I Know why....their website sucks! I couldn't find a list of all teachers. I have been back to school a couple years ago when everything looked so different. I also had found out a few of the cool teachers I liked had passed on...very disappointing!

Yeah, I went up to my old high school last year for something and while the building was the same everything was moved around. The prinicpal's office wasn't even in the same place.

No, can't say that I have. I know when my kids were in school there was some teachers there that was around when I was in school. I wasn't into school that much to remember the teachers. I do know that the principal of my high school was a commissioner of our county for a long time. Him I did like.
