I rarely get sick. When I do get sick, I rest for a day or two and I'm fine. I can't remember the last time I got sick and went to the doctor. I have probably been sick, gone to the doctor, and been put on an antibiotic once in the last 15 years.
I know some people that get sick all the time, go to the doctor and take antibiotics. It makes me wonder if their taking antibiotics wrecks their immune system and makes them susceptible to getting sick more often and needing more antibiotics. I know some people that take antibiotics at least two or three times a year. If I was sick that often, I would want to slit my wrists. How often do you go to the doctor because you are sick and have to take antibiotics?
I did get the flu last year and that was the sickest I had been in years and years. I rested for a few days and was fine. (no doctor involved)
