Default French Toast - Da Bomb ... !!!

You just inspired me to make French Toast!!! I could eat French Toast any time of the day or night ... !!! I remember as a kid, when I'd spend the night at a friend's, his mother would make French Toast almost every time I stayed there!!! We put tons of powdered sugar and syrup.

I like to mix in some vanilla with cinnamon, and a little milk, then beat the eggs up really good. Sometimes I'll put some peanut butter on the French Toast, or molasses, or fruity syrup, like Smuckers Natural Blueberry Syrup!

Anise has the flavor of black licorice. They have anise flavored hard candies my mom used to buy. (I wasn't crazy about them and am not crazy about black licorice) My mom does make an anise flavored cookie that is really good. It's very unique and although I don't like anything else flavored with it, I do like the cookies.

I am not sure if this is similar to her recipe or not but YIKES a stick of butter and a half of cup of oil....not too good for you. LOL

I will ask her if she still has the recipe.
Yes ... !!! I thought the anise tasted a bit like black licorice. I don't like black licorice, but when I cooked up the anise with the eggs, I can't even taste the anise anymore. I mostly taste the cilantro and olive oil.

Well, here is my Eggs Anise ... !!! That's what I decided to call it. Pretty healthy dinner tonight .... I'm enjoying a tall glass of Ovaltine too! One of my favorite drinks.

Hey, you might get lucky and get "an official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock, and this thing which tells time."

Tonight I will make chicken with rice. The rice will be gently simmered with fresh spring onions and ginger. Some reduced soy sauce will be added at the end
