I moved in a new place now got aicon in my bedroom .
was 88f indoors yesterday so my electric bill ..EEK

We in the middle of summer .

only crappy thing about living at the coast ( sea ) humidity that Clogs all your salt cellers ;-) ( pots )

What temperature is your thermostat set at?

How energy efficient is your place?

Is it programmed to drop the heat a little while you are at work and are sleeping?

Ray has ours set up to drop when we are sleeping and when we are at work. He then has it set to turn on about an hour before the Queen gets out of bed and about an hour before she comes home from work.

That's what we do, just wear warmer clothes, and use more blankets. Although we don't have the extreme cold weather here. However, now that we live in Ceres, we are in growing zone #8, which is colder, and has record lows down to 13 F!

We do not heat the bedroom. Mr. Raven uses 4-5 blankets to my 1-2 blankets. He sleeps in socks, and layered clothing and I um, feel claustrophobic when sleeping in clothing at night. I guess I am warm blooded.
