No, not as of yet. I use only Amish heaters to heat my place. Though I live in a small apartment too. Last month's heating bill was $95.00. In previous years when I had to heat with electric baseboard heat my heating bills were over $325.00 a month. They stand by their warrant too. One broke and I called them up and they didn't argue or anything. They shipped a knew one to me and the send me a shipping label to ship the broken one back.

It's been a light winter so far and I've updated just about everything external on my house between 2003 and now (roof, siding, windows, insulation, new crazy energy efficient and 2 stage variable speed furnace, etc...) that I'm paying less on the monthly bills but paid for it with the big budget items.

We have one of those too. Ray has it set to go down to 66 during the day when nobody is home. It goes up to 69 an hour before I get up in the morning and then again at night right around the time I get home.

But it's also regularly kicking in and moving warm air around when it's not going full blast like that. Helps to keep the room temps even all over the house so it's not say 67 at the thermostat but 60 in the corner of a bedroom. 67 means 67. 69 means 69 etc. Having the humidifier working on there again helps too.

It costs a lot less to maintain 72 against 40 outside than 72 against 14 and lower degrees.
![]() Well, that and it just nasty sticky lets the bacteria grow faster that high. Don't need it so high you need suimsuits in January! ![]() Well, maybe when I retire.
