I'm surprised no-one has mentioned this movie. I really enjoyed the 3D version, something that has never appealed to me before ... but this time there were rarely any obvious punches, weapons thrown in my direction ... so I enjoyed the experience of being in the actual scene. Our own Aussie, Sam Worthington, was a joy to watch ... and I thoroughly enjoyed most of the other characters. A great storyline and a great experience.

I loved that movie. It kind of reminded me of a modern version of FernGully. Obviously made for today's audience and not a cartoon but the story was similar in some ways. FernGully was one of my favorites growing up. I think this weekend Mr. Unc and I are going to see Avatar a second time. I still have my 3D glasses from the first time. LOL

This is one of the most enjoyable movies I've seen in a while. It's more than what you might think - the previews don't do it justice. I especially enjoyed the 3D experience and will probably go and see it again before it leaves the theater. My kids thoroughly enjoyed it and most of their friends have seen it over and over.
