| You thought I was just an old granny didnt you Dan. I dont mind Eminem and unfortunately I know all the lyrics to that song. Ask me anything important about politics and I dont know, but this I do. My favourite part is the lines just before the Dr. Dre in the basement bit :- It's the return of the... "Ah, wait, no way, you're kidding, he didn't just say what I think he did, did he?" I like the way he says it ![]() |

| ^will work for caffeine | You act like someone that i could be at ease BSing with like an old school chum, that puts you at about 25. ![]() Back when I Was DJ'ing "The Real Slim Shady" was one of the biggest songs ever. At it's peak it was the only song I'd spin 3 times a night and still get more requests for it. It remains the only song I'd spin more than twice a night. I actually bought it on LP (record) so that I could scratch it and wore out two records before I realized I could use the mixer board to scratch cheaper records as the Slim Shady single was spinning. It's funny the reason why I'm surprised you knew that is that we got a lot of folks from the UK at my bar and a vast majority of them seemed to despise American hip hop (rap) 95% of their requests were Michael Jackson, Blackbox, Crystal Waters, etc.. All much older than what was currently en-vogue here. I guess that was what they were raised to understand American music is. |

| Yes I think you're right about the UK's view on American music. Im not a great fan of rap music as such, but I do quite like Eminem. As for the age thing, I dont think of myself as a mother with a 20 year old son and conforming to the typical mum figure, I listen to the same music as the boys do and I have friends who are 25, as well as friends who are the same age as me. I was married very young and was a typical young mother then, my life revolved around Thomas the Tank Engine and mother and toddler group etc, but when the kids grew up I started to do the things I really wanted to do back then, ie; have tattoos and piercings (not that im covered in tattoos and piercings cos im not, we're just talking a bellybutton piercing anyway) but I wear the clothes I like, I do wear wacky shoes and I do go to gigs and things, and who says you cant do that at my age |

| Well yes I agree, age doesnt matter, we have to be who we truly are.......cause I am, whatever you say I am, and if I wasn't, then why would I say I am? In the paper, the news everyday I am, I don't know it's just the way I am |
