| Re: How Old Do You Have To Be To Get A Driving Permit/License and to Drive I went to Manhattan when I was 15 for two weeks. I rode in a taxi one day and am surprised that I lived to tell about it. That taxi driver was going about 50 mph down a one way street that had cars parked on both sides and there was barely enough room to fit between them and he was gunning it all the way. (let's not forget about the pedestrians that would step out from between parked cars practically in front of us) I am sure I was as white as a sheet when that ride was over. I nearly kissed the ground.

If I am planning on being there during the week, however I try to take a train and cab or walk it from Penn (because parking can be such a PITA). |
