| Local Legend | Mr. Raven used to do Triathlons and I never seen him put bandaids on his nipples. He stopped doing them because they got to expensive to enter. |

| I do NOT have nipple gear, had to laugh my a$$ of when I read this thread. They do get sore and hurt in the evening after a morning run. But as of late they do not ache, maybe cause its not so hot as of late......I would think ripping them off if you have chest hair might be more painful than dealing with the soreness

| Hey 5p, I went running off the treadmill Friday...OUCH! I actually had to run a mile in boot camp class and then sprint and my shrins were angry at me all weekend for that. I might need to get some newer shoes with the shock absorbs to get through this |

| I started running at 209 lbs, I bought a nice new pair from Kohls and started running......I know exactly what you are going through, my shins were absolutely killing me. I kept at it, people kept telling me that it will get better and it did not. So a friend of mine said try a running store they know exactly what you need. So I went to the Runners edge thinking this is it, if it does not get better I am quitting running, they set me up with a $80.00 pair of Brooks running shoes. I thought they were pricey but they have made all the difference, within 3 or 4 runs there was no more leg pain. I am running farther than I have ever had my legs do get tired but there is no more pain. The pair I had originally bought is sold by the Runners Edge but it did provide enough support since I am rather heavy, I ve lost almost 10 ponds and that is really due to the fact I watch what I eat, no more cookies and cakes, backed off on the booze and eat tons of fruit. I actually have an arch in my foot, it has not dropped so this guy at the runners edge reccommend a pair that suited my needs. Running sneakers loose their bounce after about a year or 500 miles, so you may not have that many miles on them but if they are old they are just worn out I m sure a new pair might not cost as much but if you can locate a running store and want to make a great invesment I would definately pony up a couple of extra bucks.

| I'm really not into jogging, but I have promised my friend we will train over the next year so that we can run in the next Bridge to Brisbane rather than walk. I can't say that I'm really looking forward to it, lol. Good luck to you both, and please keep us posted.

| Its their pain, a lot of men make women cry or annoy them in some way by making inappropriate and hurtful comments, men arent good at coping with pain, so I would enjoy inflicting it. My ideal job would be performing vasectomys. * of course im talking about the stereotypical man here, im sure none of you are like that |
