|  Should pregnant women date Ok so we know that there are abandoned pregnant mothers out there, but do you think its right that a heavily pregnant woman goes out dating and sleeping with guys. I know this is a bit judgemental on my part, but it makes me uneasy to think about it. I absolutely think that pregnant women who take part in porn films are absolutely disgusting. Wheres the maternal instinct. |

I'd feel odd dating an already pregnant girl only because everyone would probably think I was the one who knocked her up.  From a guy's prospective when the baby comes you're likely going to be the only father this kid knows, that's a rough one. If your ready for the commitment that's fine.. but to be there for the kid and then decide not to be with mother hurts the kid. Personally I wouldn't want to be daddy to someone's kid whom I just met with in the past few months. Just my .02.  |

| Re: Should pregnant women date well, in addition to agreeing with some of the other posters' views, there's yet another angle: the "trend" where babies/kids are expected to accommodate their mother's/parent's lifestyles, rather than the parents making adjustments for the sake of the kids |

| Re: Should pregnant women date I'm thinking that most of the time if a pregnant woman is dating it's only because the baby's father is a low life scum bag. I guess if the guy's ok with dating her it shouldn't be anybody elses business. As far as intimacy, it creeps me out because he isn't the father but that's my personal opinion. It just seems really weird to me.

| Re: Should pregnant women date Yeah it was specifically the intimacy angle I was thinking of, that is just awful isnt it, how anyone could want to be involved with a new partner when pregnant is beyond me. I can see it if a girl has been abandoned and she has a male friend who gets more involved in her life and something develops between them, then fair enough, but its those girls who specially get pregnant, no chance of them being with the father and just going out and dating and sleeping with new guys regardless, thats what I think is really wrong |
